What is Trekkin' with Karkos 2?
Trekkin' with Karkos 2 is a reflection of my love for Nature, backpacking and hiking, all rolled into one, as seen
through the eyes of my camera.
I am an avid hiker, backpacker and former Appalachian Trail maintainer in Maine. Getting diabetes put a damper on that for a while, and I'm learning how to make the adjustments, so I can get back out and hike like I used to. Flash forward to 2005..I am back into maintaining, doing a section of the Bigelow Range Trail to Cranberry Peak.
So, this site will hopefully provide its visitors with an idea of the terrain and sights along some of the trails I've hiked, as well as tips I'll share and ideas for places to trek.
